Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
People who continually worry about every detail of their lives are like this patient in a mental hospital who stood with her ear pressed against the wall:
"What are you doing?" asked a curious attendant.
"Shhhh," the woman whispered, beckoning to the attendant to join her at the wall.
The attendant pressed his ear to the wall and stood there for several moments listening intently. "I can't hear anything," he said.
"I know," the patient replied with a furrowed brow, "it's been like that all day!"
Some worry about what might be said. Others worry about what hasn't been said. Some worry about what might happen. Others worry about what hasn't happened but should have happened by now. Others worry about their future while others fret over the consequences of their past.
We were created for abundant life--mind, body and spirit. Like a flower, we were meant to blossom, not to wither on the vine. Turns your worries over to Jesus today and walk in peace-mind, body and spirit.
Thought: Worry: the interest paid by those who borrow trouble.
