Prayer For The Victims Of War

O Lord God, Precious Lord Jesus,
Creator of all the heavens and all the earth, as the Lord of all people and all nations, hear our pleas.

In this hour of darkness and grief, be with all of those whose lives have been torn asunder by war.

Be with the grieving parents who have lost sons and daughters.Be with the POW's who are held captive. Be with the families of the POW's who are caught up in so much torment over their loved ones. Place your healing and protective hands upon all those who are suffering. Bring your peace and contentment to their hearts.

Bring the souls of those lost into your Heavenly home and keep them with you forever.

By your power and might, stop the evil that rages this day. Help all of us to know your will and to be humble in your sight.

In the name of our Precious Lord Jesus, the Ever-present Holy Spirit, and the God of all people. Amen
