My Hands

Dearly Beloved,

In several of My letters I have written to you regarding My hands. I have written to you about touching My hands, holding My hands, and now I want to talk to you about a very intimate part of My hands, the palms. What makes My palms so intimate? It is because you are there - you are right there in the center of them. Nail scars are in the middle of My palms so it is only appropriate that not only have I placed you, but I have carved you in the palm of my hands.

Sometimes I just sit with the back of my hands on my knees looking at My palms. I see eachof you by name engraved deeply into the nail prints. If only you could comprehend how close I want you to be to Me. This is why the Word says that, "those that the Father has given Me, no man can snatch them out of My hands and no man can snatch them out of His hands." My Word is true - you cannot be snatched as long as you remain engraved in My hands of your own free wills. Many though choose to leave the palms of My hands and I do not and will not stop them because of the free will that I have given them.

It breaks My heart when one that is engraved in My hand chooses to leave. I must open My hands and let them go and continue to pour out My love to them so they may return to Me. I know each of you by name and I see each of your images carved in My hands so that I can hold you ever so tenderly. Sometimes I place My hands on My chest so you can be close to My heart. I hold you close and weep. I weep for joy at having you this close to Me, and I weep for those who has chosen not to remain or even desire to be this close to Me. My hands are tender; My hands are loving; My hands are kind; My hands are always open just for you.

I want you to hold My hands and carefully look at them. To hold My hands though, you must be close to Me, and I close to you. Look very closely now and as you look through the nail scars and remember where they came from; as you remember that day back on Calvary; as you remember the price that was paid for your life; as you remember the sinless Blood that was shed for you; as your remember the ultimate sacrifice that was made which was My life for you...when you remember all of this as you are looking into the palms of my hands, even though blinded by tears...you will first see your name and through the tears, you will see your image.

I invite you to take My hands in yours, see the scars, and in seeing them, you will see that I can and never will forget you because I have engraved you in the palms of My hands.
