Love is an Action, Not Just a Word

For me to use the word love,
I must clearly see,
What love truly is, 
This described to you and me, In God's Holy word,
In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 is given,
To teach us the meaning,
Of Jesus undying love from Heaven,
Love suffereth long and is kind,
Our Jesus showed us, over 2000 years ago,
He is our example, no greater love was ever bestowed,
He ministered to the lost, teaching man the way,
Healed the lame, the blind, the mute, and set men free,
Raised the dead and cast out demons,
And as he did, we too must show His example day by day. 
Love envieth not, is not filled with jealousy, greed or spite,
Love vauneth not itself, doesn't brag or esteem himself so high,
Is not puffed up, but humble, sweet as honey, always kind,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, putting Christ to an open shame,
Seeketh not her own, but others first, giving to those who need day by day,
Is not easily provoked, but wants to mirror Jesus and walk in his ways,
Thinketh no evil, but meditates on God's word and wants to be a light, 
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but in faith, living everyday seeks what is right,
Love rejoiceth in truth; Love beareth all things;
Love hopeth all things, love endureth all things
Love never fails. Jesus is love. We too must walk in His ways,
Being as humble as a child, forgiving, to enter Heaven someday.
